Week of 1/21 - Mirror Images

To create these images, I used photos that I had taken previously and put them into Photoshop to mirror them. To do this, I followed the steps given by the article provided with the assignment at https://expertphotography.com/mirror-image-photoshop/. For the first set, I cropped the image to make the tips of the leaves touching the edges of the frame so that the final mirrored image would touch. Next, I used the article's steps and duplicated the image and flipped it horizontally. I then changed the canvas size so that the original and the copy would fit next to each other and moved them together. I then flattened the image so that both layers would be merged and repeated this process with the new layer, stretching the canvas up and flipping it vertically this time. For the second set of images, I again cropped the original photo and followed the first step of the article. I then repeated this step, creating a strip of the reflected images. Next, I reflected it upwards and repeated to create a grid of 12 versions of the reflected photo to create the final image. For the set of reflected trees, I started again by cropping the image so that the trees would line up with the borders. Then I reflected it once horizontally and once vertically and made the canvas 200%, then repeated each twice to create the final image.
