I have gotten a lot out of this class in learning more about art and advancing my own style. Learning about the elements of art and principles of design is definitely something I will remember in the future to improve my artwork.
I would encourage students to take this class because I had a lot of fun with all of the projects and learning more about how graphic design can be used. It is a unique art class because you get experience in both digital and paper, and you can get an idea of what it is like to be a professional designer through some projects.
Graphic design has been one of my favorite classes in the last two years. I don't think I have a favorite project, but I did enjoy designing the calendar layout and doing logo design for Inside Education and VAPA because these projects gave me an idea of what it's like to design for a client.
